Reverse Sear Sirloin

This was a very interesting experience with the Portable Kitchen grill. I’ve really liked using this little cooker a lot and am sure surprised at the new things I’m still learning while using it. I couldn’t as for a better cook on this thick sirloin and it was done over a water pan away from the fire (INDIRECT). I over cooked it for my taste but like I said, I just couldn’t believe it had such great grill marks cooked that way and it really didn’t need the sear at the end. Next time I’m going to slow the fire down and remove the meat from the cooker while I turn up the heat and give a fast sear at the end ala Finney Reverse Sear method.
